Tuesday, June 6, 5 p.m. cst: Reception, welcome and opening ceremonies sponsored by Zinpro. 

Thursday, June 9, 9 a.m. cst: Integrating Physiology and Nutrition to Optimize Biomechanics of the Equine Foot Workshop facilitated by Zinpro experts Dr. Connie Larson, Dr. Laura Amundson and Mr. Erik Swenson. This workshop combines an innovative speaker, hands-on learning and stimulates future research ideation and teaching applications and is designed to ignite scientific exploration beyond the limitation we often confront in studying and understanding tissues in the horse model. Attendees will gain insight and stimulate research ideation about functional nutrients and how they contribute to normal physiology and foundational development of bone, cartilage, ligaments, tendons and hoof. In addition, the models and methods used during this workshop can also serve as tools for education and extension outreach. The workshop will have three interactive components including a speaker, interaction and brainstorming.
