EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. – February 16, 2022 – Zinpro Corporation, the world’s leading innovator and manufacturer of high-performance organic trace minerals and animal nutrition solutions, announced the company has signed on as a sponsor of Minorities in Agriculture, Natural Resources and Related Sciences (MANRRS). MANRRS is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting academic and professional advancement by empowering minorities in these fields.
“We are excited to work with MANRRS because we believe the agriculture industry offers rewarding and fulfilling careers for talented, underrepresented students,” said Zinpro President and Chief Executive Officer Rob Sheffer. “At Zinpro, we’re working to build diverse and inclusive workplaces, where everyone who is passionate about animal health and wellness can grow and advance. By promoting careers in agricultural sciences with MANRRS, we can help build a brighter, more innovative future for all of us.”
According to Sheffer, the company’s sponsorship will help MANRRS drive awareness of diverse career paths across the food and agriculture system and connect college students and MANRRS members with opportunities to learn, grow and make valuable connections. Primary activities funded by the sponsorship will include webinars, career fairs, e-mentoring and scholarships for students attending the MANRRS National Conference.
